Bearden Bulldogs Varsity Overcomes Knoxville Central In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning

Despite allowing three runs in the fifth inning, Bearden Bulldogs Varsity defeated Knoxville Central 8-4 on Saturday. Knoxville Central big bats were led by Seth Armstrong and Garret Hamilton, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Bearden Bulldogs Varsity got things started in the first inning. An error scored one run for Bearden Bulldogs Varsity.

Cole Poynter led the Bearden Bulldogs Varsity to victory on the pitcher’s mound. Bearden Bulldogs JV defeated Heritage 11-1 on Wednesday thanks to a timely eight runs in a big second inning. Bearden Bulldogs JV big bats were led by Braden CaldwellCaden RectorWill NelmsDrew SliwinskiJosh Stubblefield, and Blake Hale, all knocking in runs in the inning.

Bearden Bulldogs JV got things moving in the first inning. Sliwinski doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Bearden Bulldogs JV tallied eight runs in the second inning. CaldwellRectorNelmsSliwinskiStubblefield, and Hale all drove in runs in the frame.

Bearden Bulldogs JV struggled to get their offense going on Monday, getting easily dispatched by Maryville, 14-3.

In the first inning, Maryville got their offense started. Will Myers hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Bearden Bulldogs JV evened things up at three in the bottom of the first inning. Blake Hale drew a walk, scoring one run.

Maryville pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Seth Owendoubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs and an error scored one run for Maryville.

Maryville scored four runs in the third inning. Jonas DixonWill Eriksson, and Myers all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Bearden Bulldogs Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-6 loss to Heritage on Wednesday. Heritage scored on a home run by Kameron Johnson in the first inning, a single by Hayden Gilliland in the first inning, a single by Jacob Goble in the first inning, a fielder’s choice by Dj Cooper in the first inning, a double by Casey Haire in the second inning, a single by Max Bowers in the second inning, and a single by Cory Kaan in the second inning.

Bearden Bulldogs Varsity collected seven hits and Heritage had 11 in the high-scoring affair.

Bearden Bulldogs Varsity tallied four runs in the seventh inning. Spencer Glover had an RBI grand slam in the inning to lead the run scoring.
