Bearden Bulldogs JV struggled to get their offense going on Monday, getting easily dispatched by Maryville, 14-3.

In the first inning, Maryville got their offense started. Will Myers hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Bearden Bulldogs JV evened things up at three in the bottom of the first inning. Blake Hale drew a walk, scoring one run.

Maryville pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second Seth Owendoubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs and an error scored one run for Maryville.

Maryville scored four runs in the third inning. Jonas DixonWill Eriksson, and Myers all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Brayden Anderson got the win for Maryville. He lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing two hits and three runs while striking out one. Austin McGlanery threw five and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Austin Pruitt took the loss for Bearden Bulldogs JV. He lasted two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero hits and three runs.

Bearden Bulldogs JV racked up five hits. Caden Rector and Josh Stubblefield each had multiple hits for Bearden Bulldogs JVStubblefield and Rector each collected two hits to lead Bearden Bulldogs JV.

Maryville totaled 11 hits. ErikssonDixon, and Owen all had multiple hits for Maryville.
