Jaxon Serritt didn’t allow a single run against Farragut, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Bearden Bulldogs JV to a 5-0 victory on Friday
Bearden Bulldogs JV put up four runs in the fourth inning. Caden Rector, Will Nelms, and Josh Stubblefield all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
One bright spot for Farragut was a single by Hodges in the second inning.
Serritt took the win for Bearden Bulldogs JV. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over five innings, striking out four and walking one.
Evans took the loss for Farragut. He lasted one and one-third innings, allowing one hit and one run.
Stubblefield led Bearden Bulldogs JV with two hits in two at bats. Bearden Bulldogs JV didn’t commit a single error in the field. Ty Serritt had the most chances in the field with five.
Hodges went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Farragut in hits.
